SMALL WORKS / BIG HEART
An annual juried exhibition of small artworks to benefit non-profit organizations serving Western North Carolina.
2018 Beneficiary: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue
2018 Theme: Animals (of course!)
Throughout time, humans have developed deep relationships with animals. From religious idols to companion pets, we have opened our hearts and grown great feelings of love and admiration towards our furry, featured and scaly friends. This year's 'Small Works/Big Heart' will honor those relationships, including small artworks inspired by this theme.
The exhibition namesake, 'Small Works / Big Heart,' is both a theme and a call to action. The exhibition, now in its second year, is slated to run during the holiday season, a time when many of us like to carry out "small works" of kindness that show our love for our communities and our world. With this in mind, CANVAS ArtSpace is committed to donating half of the exhibition proceeds to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and life-saving programs for animals in WNC.
Please join us in raising funds for this important cause!
