This 3-hour drawing workshop focuses on learning to draw hands by first learning to look closely. Instructor Janet Orselli will guide you to see the hand with an artist’s eye, and through very specific drawing exercises, help you build new skills. Students will learn how to approach the human hand using contour, form, scale and gesture and proportion. A short powerpoint presentation, reflective writing exercise, and the opportunity to connect with other students adds to the overall workshop experience. Discover how learning to see using your unique internal eye can inform and inspire your drawings.
